By designing products that can be fully reused. We minimize waste and pollution, alleviatethe strain on landfills and the environment.

The efficient use of materials and the promotion of closed-loop systems minimize the consumption of virgin resources, preserving ecosystems and reducing resource depletion.

By advocating for renewable energy sources and energy-efficient design, we contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and mitigating climate change impacts.

By embracing this innovative approach, architects, designers, and manufacturers can play an active role in shaping a world where waste is virtually eliminated, and resources are used responsibly and efficiently.

Yes! we are committed to the sustainable use of raw materials and quality systems throughout MFC production process. Our wood-based products can help to save and protect the environment by producing recyclable chipboards that can be recycled at the end of their useful life and processed into new products in a continuous recycling process thus protecting the environment from the excessive use of natural resources. We believe in efficient value chains, which provide an incentive for investment and active raw materiel and agro based wood management.

Yes! Greenlam attaches utmost importance to the sourcing of agro based wood from sustainable sustainable agro based wood plantation management. We not only pay attention to compliance with general quality requirements but also to optimized logistic processes to avoid unnecessary transport that may impact on the environment.

  • The plant as per IGBC guidelines as a part of sustainable commitment.
  • The plant is equipped with LED lighting without illumination pollution to save electricity consumption.
  • Rainwater recharge chambers are installed for groundwater recharge and the same are connected to plant storm water drainage system.
  • Efficient STP and ETPs are installed with ultra filtration system for reusing the treated waters.
  • Plant is equipped with zero discharge system (ATFD & MEE are installed to ensure the same).
  • State of the art bag filter systems installed to ensure emission norms much lower than the pollution control board norms as a part of our environmental initiative.
  • The heat requirements of the plant are met by biomass, wood waste, bark, wood dust and other process wastages.
  • Suitable greenbelt plantations are planned for offsetting GHGs.
  • We have also created a dedicated a plantation division to ensure sustainable plantation drive in the vicinity of the project site. This division will work with local farmers, landowners, wood suppliers to encourage agro-based farming.

It is  high performance eco chipboard . Inspired by nature, sustainable wood based & Resin ingredients have been used to replace part of the harmful  raw materials. Greenlam MFC is made with non harmful ingredients to create cleaner indoor air. It has anti formaldehyde, anti-bacterial resistance that ensures cleaner air for a healthy wellbeing.

  • The recommended storage conditions for Greenlam MFC Chipboards should be close to 20°C (15-27°C) with a relative humidity of 35-67%. It is important to maintain these conditions because this can affect the quality of the boards.
  • always transport the boards supported on a flat base and store them horizontally, keeping them off the ground by using dry pads or supports at a height that allows the entry of forklift forks without damaging the material.
  • protect the edges of the boards when raising, moving, or stacking, especially if handling unpackaged material.
  • ensure that the floor is level in the storage area and that there are no objects that could cause unevenness, to prevent possible board warping, which is very often irreversible.
  • store the boards in a covered area, protected from the weather and away from sources of humidity and intense heat.
  • Always ensure storage of Greenlam MFC/MDF horizontally with the décor face down or cover the board with an impermeable sheet or board in case of double side décor.
  • Ensure alignment of Score blade with main blade of Panel saw. Maintain optimum feed speed, RPM of the saw pair to avoid chipping.
  • do not store boards in areas with air currents, especially if the air is humid.
  • keep the boards away from water, especially the edges.
  • always store the boards horizontally and grouped by size, so that they are aligned, and no board protrudes more than 15 mm.
  • if boards with a thickness of 8 mm or less are stacked, place a board no less than 15 mm thick or a wooden pallet, preferably flat topped, at the bottom of the stack.
  • if using shims or support beams, ensure that these are the same height and the spacing between them is 600 mm or less.
  • ensure the vertical alignment of the beams between batches, placing them parallel to the smaller boards.
  • In high temperature environments, put a protection board on top of the pile, both in storage and in transportation during the transformation process, to reduce the effect of the heat on the face of the material. The loss of moisture in the exposed face, with the consequent structural imbalance of the board, can generate warps.
  • In high humidity environments, also place a protection board or another physical protection over the batch to minimize potential material imbalances due to moisture absorption in the exposed area. In situations of prolonged storage or greater demand, the use of specific packaging with protective film may be justifiable.
  • Don’t use dirty cloth for surface cleaning. Use a non-abrasive cleaner and gently work on stubborn stains in order to prevent scratches.
  • Do not attempt to make a cut out by nailing. Minute cracks that are not visible to naked eye will develop to big cracks at later dates due to this. This can lead to stress crack at cut out’s corners.

Greenlam MFC does not require special protective care, just compliance with the equipment safety requirements and taking normal respiratory and eye protection precautions in operations that produce dust (cutting, sanding, painting, etc.). We recommend the use of gloves and safety goggles when removing packaging straps of the boards or cutting material. You should also be careful when lifting and handling heavy panels to avoid injury.

Greenlam MFC can be cut with normal wood saws (vertical and horizontal saws, bench saws or even manual circular saws). It is important to maintain the condition of the blades in mind, assuring the panel is properly supported and eliminating machine vibration.

All wood glues and adhesives in the market are suitable for use with

Greenlam MFC . To ensure the best results, follow the glue manufacturer’s recommendations regarding the amount of glue, the pressing.

time and the pressure to be applied.

The same tools that are used for solid wood processing can be used for drilling Greenlam MFC.

It is advisable to pre-drill before inserting screws to prevent pulling out particles or delamination of the board. Screws inserted on the surfaces should be placed at least 20 mm from the edge. When the screws are inserted on the edges, they should be at least 70 mm from the corners and there should be at least 30 mm between consecutive screws.

  • To clean the surface, use a damp cloth or a melamine sponge (and a mild soap or detergent only if required)
  • Difficult “stain” such a coffee or tea can be removed using a mild household cleaner/detergent and a soft bristle brush, repeating as necessary.
  • products with a high content of acid or very alkaline solutions should be avoided as they could stain the décor surface
  • while using solvents, use a clean cloth so as not to leave marks on the décor surface
  • Avoid furniture polishes, paint thinners of low pH and wax based detergents, especially while cleaning Foil MFCs because they tend to form a sticky layer and affect the surface adversely.
  • Warning: Prolonged exposure of the decor surface to bleach will cause discoloration.
